The Taylor Family have been running Stryt Fawr Dairy Farm in Llanychan, Ruthin for over 40 years. It is home to a herd of Brown Swiss cows easily recognised by their charming brown coats and fluffy ears. Their milk is naturally high in butterfat, making it perfect for rich, creamy, and utterly delicious ice cream!
Chilly Cow have a minimum order value of just £200 so I can see us having regular visits from them especially when you can select your favourite flavour in your favourite size. The wholesale price when we last ordered (March 2026) was £1.50 for a small 120ml tub and £4.62 for a large 500ml tub but please be aware prices are subject to change. However, you’d have to go a long way to better that price for taste and quality and the last time I looked on their website there were 22 different flavours to try. You have to buy a minimum of 6 of the 500ml tubs or 12 of the 120ml tubs but I am sure you will quickly find members willing to split a box with you.
